Highland Wholefoods is a workers co-operative situated in the city of Inverness. Founded in 1989. The company is wholly owned by its employees and is democratically run with a non-hierarchical structure. They supply vegetarian, vegan, organic, ethical and environmentally friendly food, drinks and household products to the Highlands, islands and north-east Scotland.

Ullapool Unpacked C.I.C. is a social enterprise set up to help our community produce less waste.
Formed in April of 2019 by Evie Strange, we have done this in a number of ways, most recently through a pop up shop in the Local Village Hall.

The Pantry at 116 High Street – Sandwich and Bake Deli , primarily selling sandwiches, salads, cakes, bakes and soup. Offering low-carb, high-protein, low-sugar food items, plus vegan and gluten-free.

Socially Growing is very proudly a social enterprise operated by Thurso Community Benefit Society the trading company of Thurso Community Development Trust. Socially Growing is essentially a zero waste refill shop and greenhouses which grow vegetables and plug plants as an enterprise.

Roots, Fruits and Leaves handles the logistics of bringing food from field to plate (sales, marketing, packing and delivering) – the thing growers often don’t have the time or resources to manage – meaning they can spend more time growing delicious food for us to nourish ourselves, our families and friends with.

Nc’nean is a young, independent, organic whisky distillery on the west coast of Scotland. It exists to create experimental spirits and pioneer sustainable production. You can enjoy our coffee there, stocked in their cafe and shop!
